The main goal of the First Team Assistant Analyst is to support the Head of Analysis in delivering elite-level analysis of team and player performance for Charlton Athletic Women.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and provide live analysis at selected home and away fixtures.
- Provide in-depth video and statistical analysis for training sessions and matches.
- Profile upcoming opponents and create detailed dossiers for the coaching staff.
- Aid in the recruitment process through video analysis and player reporting.
- Maintain player and team performance databases.
- Research and implement new technologies to improve the analysis provision.
- Present compelling video and data content to players and coaches.
Education/Qualifications/Training:
A degree in Sports Science, Performance Analysis, or a related field is desirable.
Abilities/Skills/Knowledge:
- High proficiency with industry‑specific software (e.g., Hudl, Catapult) and data sets (e.g., Statsbomb).
- Significant experience working within a professional football environment, ideally within elite women's football.
- Ability to align and adapt processes to the current coaching staff's philosophies.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and to travel with the team.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Additional Information:
This is a full-time role that includes work on weekends and evenings.
