Sheffield United FC are seeking an experienced

First Team Training & Individuals Analyst to join their senior performance analysis department.

Working closely with the

Manager , coaching staff and players, you'll lead the delivery of training and individual performance analysis, providing high-quality insights that support player development, tactical implementation and First Team performance.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within an elite football environment, influencing daily training, individual development and match preparation through evidence-based analysis.

The Role

First Team Training & Individuals Analyst , you'll lead the analysis of training sessions and individual player performances, delivering tailored feedback to coaches, teams, units and players.

You'll combine video analysis, statistical insight and interactive reporting to enhance learning, monitor performance and contribute to long-term tactical projects across the club.

The role also includes travelling with the First Team to home and away fixtures as required.

  • Training & Individual Analysis
  • Lead the analysis of First Team training sessions, providing detailed feedback to the Manager, coaching staff and players.
  • Deliver tailored analysis for teams, units and individual players to support performance and development.
  • Produce objective video and statistical insights that inform coaching decisions and player learning.
  • Performance Insight
  • Interpret performance data and create visual, interactive reports.
  • Maintain analytical databases aligned with the club's playing philosophy.
  • Lead and contribute to longitudinal projects examining tactical trends and player development.
  • Support additional analytical projects requested by the coaching or analysis department.
  • Department Development
  • Stay informed of the latest developments in performance analysis technology and methodology.
  • Share innovative ideas and best practice across the analysis department.
  • Travel to home and away fixtures to support First Team performance analysis.
  • Contribute to the continued evolution of analysis services across the club.

Applicants should demonstrate

  • Bsc in

Sport Performance Analysis, Sports Science or a related discipline.

  • Experience working within performance analysis in an elite football environment.
  • Strong tactical understanding and the ability to analyse team and individual performance in detail.
  • Excellent working knowledge of coding and telestration software, including
  • Hudl Sportscode or

Angles .

  • Professional communication skills when working with coaches and First Team players.
  • Excellent organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • A proactive attitude towards continuous professional development and innovation.
  • MSc in

Sport Performance Analysis, Sports Science or a related discipline.

  • Previous experience delivering training and individual analysis within a First Team environment.
  • Experience using analytical platforms such as

Tableau, Wyscout and Opta .
