Head of Academy Performance Analysis to lead and develop the club's Academy Performance Analysis department.
Reporting to the Assistant Academy Manager, this senior role will oversee the delivery of performance analysis across all Academy age groups, ensuring high-quality analytical support informs player development, coaching practice, and long-term Academy strategy.
Working closely with Academy leadership and multidisciplinary staff, you will play a key role in embedding the club's philosophy, driving innovation, and shaping the future of performance analysis within one of England's leading academies.
- Lead and coordinate the Academy Performance Analysis department across all age groups.
- Manage the day-to-day operations, workflows, and delivery of the analysis function.
- Drive the continuous development of analytical processes, products, and methodologies.
- Lead strategic analysis projects aligned with the Academy's long-term vision.
- Player Development & Performance Support
- Oversee individual player analysis using objective and subjective performance data.
- Support coaches with actionable insights to inform Individual Development Plans (IDPs).
- Monitor player progression and contribute evidence‑based information to Academy leadership.
- Ensure analysis supports the club's playing philosophy and methodology.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated reporting across the Academy and loan players.
- Collaborate with the Head of Player Development, Methodology & Innovation and Academy Coach Development Manager.
- Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports aligned with Academy strategic objectives.
