Video Analyst (Scouting) to play a key role within its recruitment and player evaluation department.

This exciting opportunity will see you support the club's scouting and recruitment process by delivering industry-leading video analysis, player intelligence, and recruitment presentations.

Working closely with the Football Analytics team and senior football leadership, you'll help provide the objective evidence needed to support informed recruitment decisions.

The Role

Video Analyst (Scouting) , you will develop and manage the club's video analysis framework, producing high-quality player analysis, comparative scouting content and recruitment intelligence.

You’ll combine video, data and market intelligence to build detailed player profiles, support due diligence processes and contribute to Norwich City’s evidence-based recruitment strategy.

  • Scouting & Player Evaluation
  • Develop and manage the club's video analysis framework for recruitment.
  • Produce professional, telestrated player videos for senior football staff.
  • Deliver insightful video content to support player assessments and recruitment discussions.
  • Create comparative player analysis against squad profiles and recruitment targets.
  • Compile comprehensive player dossiers highlighting suitability, strengths and development potential.
  • Gather player intelligence and conduct background research.
  • Support due diligence throughout the recruitment process.
  • Maintain structured intelligence databases.
  • Build and manage comprehensive video libraries aligned with positional profiles and recruitment priorities.
  • Work closely with the Football Analytics department to integrate video, data and intelligence.
  • Produce engaging presentations for recruitment meetings.
  • Continuously improve analysis workflows, content management systems and best practice.
  • Collaborate across departments to enhance recruitment decision-making.

Applicants should demonstrate

  • Extensive experience in professional football within an analysis role.
  • Strong understanding of football tactics, player profiling and recruitment processes.
  • Proven ability to produce high-quality player videos and decision-support materials.

  • Experience managing large volumes of video and player intelligence.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
  • FA Talent Identification qualification (completed or working towards).
  • Previous experience within scouting and recruitment environments.
