Newcastle Red Bulls are recruiting a Senior Academy Analyst to lead the delivery of performance analysis across their Academy programme, supporting player development, talent identification, and transition into senior rugby.

Working within a high-performance environment backed by Red Bull, the successful candidate will provide innovative analysis support across matches, training, IDPs, recruitment, and pathway development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Academy analysis provision and act as the main point of contact
  • Deliver video and statistical reports for players and coaches
  • Support Individual Development Plans (IDPs) through detailed insight
  • Lead matchday analysis for Academy, loan, and university fixtures
  • Support talent identification and recruitment processes
  • Manage coding, storage, and archiving of video and data workflows
  • Deliver innovative feedback methods and educational support to staff and players
  • Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and first team analysis staff
Essential Requirements
  • Experience delivering analysis in elite or professional sport
  • Strong rugby union knowledge and understanding
  • Experience using Hudl Sportscode, Studio, Tableau or Power BI
  • Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills
  • Ability to work within fast-paced match environments
  • Full UK driving licence and eligibility to work in the UK
Desirable
  • Experience within professional rugby environments
  • Experience supporting recruitment and talent ID
  • Knowledge of long-term athlete development models
