Role Overview
ASPA is sharing this vacancy on behalf of Tottenham Hotspur for an Academy Recruitment role covering the Midlands region. The successful candidate will play a leading role in identifying and recommending high-potential U13–U18 players for the Academy, while contributing to wider national recruitment strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead talent identification across the Midlands region for Academy recruitment.
- Assess emerging U13–U18 players through live and video scouting.
- Produce detailed scouting reports and maintain accurate player intelligence records.
- Support national recruitment planning, including target lists and succession mapping.
- Coordinate regional scouting activity to ensure full competition and talent coverage.
- Collaborate with national recruitment staff and regional leads to share intelligence.
- Represent Tottenham Hotspur professionally with clubs, agents, and football stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with Premier League, EFL, and EPPP regulations.
- Uphold safeguarding standards in all aspects of the role.
Skills & Experience Required
- Significant academy recruitment and youth talent identification experience, ideally in the Midlands.
- Strong understanding of youth player profiling across U13–U18 age groups.
- Knowledge of Premier League Academy regulations and EPPP standards.
- Experience using scouting platforms such as Hudl and Eyeball.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and relationship-building skills.
- High levels of integrity, discretion, and professionalism.
- Full UK driving licence.
- FA Talent ID Level 3 (or currently working towards).
