To deliver excellent physiotherapy services to Academy players of Fleetwood Town Football Club, aiming to optimise performance, reduce injury risk and minimise recovery time from injury.
Main Responsibilities and Key Result Areas
- Lead the academy analysis department, ensuring team, unit and individual analysis is provided across the U9-U21 programme.
- Oversee a team of analysts to ensure consistency in filming and coding of training and games to ensure quality of footage to use.
- Understand the FTFC playing style, taking time to work closely with coaches in implementing individual development and creating analysis sessions for improvement of understanding.
- Work closely with the Head of Coaching to provide best practice sessions for all age groups, in line with the coaching programme and playing style.
- Work closely with the Head of Coaching to create player case studies, investigating the development of players through regular analysis, using subjective and objective data to form professional opinion and discussion.
- Work closely with the Head of Coaching to develop the coaches – providing information to support the consistency and quality.
- Work closely with the PDP staff to support the development of loan players, through use of subjective and objective analysis.
- Manage the HUDL account, ensuring all relevant staff, players and parents are adequately trained to use.
- Manage the use of VEO’s and video cameras to ensure safety and quality.
