London City Lionesses are seeking a highly detail-oriented First Team Analyst to support the delivery of high-quality performance insights across all aspects of the club’s game model. Working closely with the Head of Methodology, coaching staff, and analysis team, the successful candidate will play a key role in integrating analysis into weekly preparation and long-term performance objectives within an ambitious women's football environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive video and performance analysis across First Team activities
  • Translate insights into clear training objectives aligned to the club’s methodology
  • Support individual player development through data and video feedback
  • Collaborate with coaches and analysts during live matchday workflows
  • Maintain and manage video databases and coding processes
  • Support training capture, coding and documentation

Department Contribution

  • Manage analysis workflows, hardware and software for matchdays
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation within the analysis function
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary performance team

Essential Requirements

  • Degree in Performance Analysis or related field
  • Experience within an elite football environment
  • Strong understanding of football tactics and women’s football
  • High level of organisation and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with industry-standard analysis tools

Desirable

  • UEFA coaching qualification
  • Experience delivering performance insights to varied audiences
  • Knowledge of data visualisation tools
