London City Lionesses are seeking a highly detail-oriented First Team Analyst to support the delivery of high-quality performance insights across all aspects of the club’s game model. Working closely with the Head of Methodology, coaching staff, and analysis team, the successful candidate will play a key role in integrating analysis into weekly preparation and long-term performance objectives within an ambitious women's football environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive video and performance analysis across First Team activities
- Translate insights into clear training objectives aligned to the club’s methodology
- Support individual player development through data and video feedback
- Collaborate with coaches and analysts during live matchday workflows
- Maintain and manage video databases and coding processes
- Support training capture, coding and documentation
Department Contribution
- Manage analysis workflows, hardware and software for matchdays
- Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation within the analysis function
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary performance team
Essential Requirements
- Degree in Performance Analysis or related field
- Experience within an elite football environment
- Strong understanding of football tactics and women’s football
- High level of organisation and attention to detail
- Proficiency with industry-standard analysis tools
Desirable
- UEFA coaching qualification
- Experience delivering performance insights to varied audiences
- Knowledge of data visualisation tools
