Coventry Rugby are seeking an experienced and motivated Performance Analyst to join the Rugby Department and play a key role in delivering elite analysis support across training and match environments. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to tactical preparation, player development, and performance improvement within an ambitious professional rugby environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver pre-, live, and post-match analysis using video and data
  • Support training analysis workflows through filming and coding
  • Produce detailed opposition analysis and tactical presentations
  • Manage analysis databases, software, and equipment
  • Contribute to the club’s game model through tactical insights
  • Maintain trend databases and evidence-based opposition reports
  • Support coaches and players through collaborative analysis processes

Essential Requirements

  • Experience working in elite rugby or professional sport
  • Strong proficiency with Hudl Sportscode/Studio, Tableau/Power BI, Excel & video editing software
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in match environments
  • Right to work in the UK

Desirable

  • Experience leading a tactical analysis area
  • Knowledge of Sportscode scripting, data modelling, or advanced visualisation tools
  • Experience with drones or IP camera systems
