We are seeking a talented and creative Digital Marketing Manager to join our team in a permanent, full‐time position. In this role, you will help drive overall growth and acquisition across Artnet's core product offerings: Marketplace (Auctions & Galleries), Media (News & Artnet PRO), Data (Price Database). The job is a hybrid position, with the opportunity to utilize our London office, located in the historic arts space at Cromwell Place, London.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Marketing Director in the development of marketing strategies across all products to deliver marketing OKRs.
  • Be responsible for planning, delivering and reporting on digital campaigns across all Artnet products, using channels such as in‐house ad banners, Google SEO and SEM, Google Display, Google Performance Max, paid social (Facebook and Instagram).
  • Contribute creatively and actively to marketing campaign strategy discussions as the lead on digital marketing.
  • Coordinate with the wider marketing team to develop and implement our integrated marketing campaigns across all products, as the lead on digital marketing.
  • Write superb copy for campaign advertising, ensuring alignment with our language and tone of voice guidelines.
  • Collaborate with product teams to manage digital campaigns that support sales and revenue objectives.
  • Lead the negotiation and outputting of partnership deals with a variety of art fairs, publications, events and other cultural institutions.
  • Work with our Luxury and Endemic Sales teams to implement high‐profile paid partnerships across digital marketing.
  • Work with external data, our internal business intelligence team and using GA4 data to monitor the performance of our digital campaigns against success metrics.
  • Act on data‐driven insights to optimize campaigns to deliver results and test performance with initiatives such as A/B testing.
  • Responsible for regular reporting on digital campaign performance and KPIs.
  • Stay abreast of the most recent and relevant customer insights, consumer trends, market analysis, and marketing best practices to build successful digital campaigns.
  • Monitor campaign budgets, working closely with the Marketing Director.
  • Work closely with our external design studio and digital marketing agency.
  • Make selected updates to our web platforms in support of marketing initiatives.
  • Create decks for internal stakeholders and external partner presentations.
  • Other tasks as directed by the Marketing Director.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of digital marketing experience.
  • Strong understanding of the current digital marketing landscape.
  • Knowledge of digital advertising platforms, including Google Ads and META paid social ads.
  • Knowledge of web analytics tools, including Google Analytics 4.
  • Superior organizational and coordination skills with acute attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to turn complex ideas into clear narratives.
  • Exceptional copywriting skills.
  • Experience of working with an external media agency to set up and monitor the performance of paid campaigns.

Preferred

  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Photoshop and InDesign).
  • Experience of working with a global team across time zones with colleagues in New York and Berlin.
  • Experience working in a growth environment and/or online platform.
  • Knowledge of art history and the contemporary art world, with a hunger to stay abreast of the latest events and trends.
