The Creative Commissioner will develop and deliver projects from idea to installation that are engaging, inclusive and child centered. This is a varied role that requires someone who is creative, organized and passionate about the difference art can make in healthcare.
Hours: 22.5 hours per week
Overall Purpose of Role:
- Plan, deliver and oversee a range of creative commissions alongside the Creative Commissioning Manager.
- Appoint and work with freelance artists, designers, architects and digital technology companies to provide innovative improvements to the hospital.
- Engage and communicate with a range of stakeholders to develop projects which are appropriate to the needs of hospital users.
- Advocate the role and place of art in healthcare within Sheffield Children’s NHS Foundation Trust (SCNHSFT) and on a national level.
