We're recruiting for an experienced Merchandiser to join a well-established, growing business where you'll play a key role in ensuring customer orders run smoothly from placement through to delivery.

This is far more than an administration role.

You'll be the link between customers, suppliers, sales, imports and the warehouse, keeping everyone informed, managing expectations and making sure contracts progress exactly as they should.

What you'll be doing You'll take ownership of customer contracts from the moment an order is received, ensuring every stage is managed accurately, efficiently and professionally.

Processing customer orders and contracts accurately.

Raising purchase orders and maintaining internal systems and customer portals.

Managing contracts from order placement through to delivery, ensuring critical deadlines are achieved.

Working closely with suppliers, customers and internal departments to keep everyone updated on progress.

Liaising with the sales team to provide accurate lead times and manage customer expectations.

Monitoring contracts, identifying shortages or over-production and resolving issues quickly.

Coordinating with import and warehouse teams to ensure stock is received and dispatched on time.

Ensuring pricing is accurate to enable correct customer invoicing.

Spotting potential sales opportunities and feeding them back to the sales team.

Building strong relationships with customers, suppliers and colleagues across the business.

Supporting continuous improvements to processes and always looking for ways to improve efficiency.

What we're looking for This role would suit someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are quite the same.

Ideally, you'll bring: Previous experience within a merchandising, customer service, supply chain, sales support or contract administration role.

Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple customer accounts simultaneously.

Strong communication skills and the confidence to build relationships with customers, suppliers and colleagues.

A proactive approach with the ability to solve problems and make informed decisions.

Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

Strong IT skills and confidence using business systems.

The ability to prioritise your workload and work independently while remaining a valued member of the wider team.
