The Agency is looking for a reliable and hands-on
Plant / Production Operative
to join a busy manufacturing environment. This is a varied role combining
driving and operating mobile plant equipment
with general production duties. Were looking for somebody who is confident behind the wheel, safety-conscious and equally happy to get off the machine and support the production team when required. The Role
Operating mobile plant equipment such as
forklifts, dumpers and other site vehicles Safely moving materials and products around the site Loading, unloading and transporting materials between production areas Carrying out daily equipment and safety checks Supporting the
production process
when not operating machinery Assisting with manual handling and general production duties Keeping working areas clean, safe and organised Following all site health & safety procedures Working closely with production and yard teams to keep operations running efficiently What We're Looking For
Good driving ability i.e car or forklifts is ample experience Previous forklift, dumper, plant or similar experience would be advantageous but not necessity Experience within
manufacturing, construction, quarrying or heavy industry
would be beneficial Happy to undertake production and manual duties
this isn't a driving-only position Reliable with a good attitude to work Safety-conscious and able to follow instructions Comfortable working in a busy, physical environment Flexible and willing to help wherever required Ideal Background
You may have previously worked as a Quarry Operative Plant Operative, Forklift Driver, Dumper Driver, Yard Operative, Production Operative, Concrete Operative, Machine Operative or Construction Operative .
