The Agency is recruiting on behalf of a successful and expanding precision engineering company for an experienced CNC Miller / CNC Setter Operator. This is an excellent opportunity to join a business that continues to invest in the latest CNC machinery, technology and its people. You'll be producing high-quality precision-engineered components for a wide range of industries within a well-equipped workshop.

As a CNC Miller, you'll be responsible for:

  • Setting and operating CNC machining centres, producing precision components to tight tolerances while maintaining exceptional quality, efficiency and safety standards.
  • Editing CNC programs and tooling offsets where required.
  • Manufacturing precision-engineered components to engineering drawings.
  • Carrying out first-off inspections and in-process quality checks.
  • Maintaining quality, productivity and health & safety standards.
  • Working closely with production and quality teams.

Previous experience required:

  • As a CNC Miller, CNC Setter Operator, CNC Machinist or CNC Milling Machine Operator.
  • Setting and operating CNC milling machines or machining centres.
  • Experience within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with Fanuc, Haas, Hurco, Heidenhain, Mazak or similar CNC controls would be advantageous.
