We’re hiring a digitally focused Account Manager into one of the7stars’ client teams, working predominantly across a major retail brand within the home appliance space alongside other accounts across the patch. The role sits within a commercially reactive, performance-led environment where media decisions evolve quickly depending on trading conditions, sales performance and wider business priorities. It’s well suited to somebody who enjoys fast-moving accounts, likes solving problems and wants to build deeper capability within digital and performance-focused planning.

You’ll play a central role in the day-to-day running of the accounts, helping coordinate activity across planning, activation, reporting and campaign delivery. The role involves close collaboration with clients, channel specialists and senior stakeholders internally, ensuring campaigns are well managed, strategically aligned and delivering against business objectives. The account mix is heavily digitally focused, with strong exposure across paid social, PPC, online video and broader performance channels, while still maintaining integrated planning across AV, audio and other offline media.

This is a hands-on role where organisation, responsiveness and commercial awareness are important. You’ll need to be comfortable managing multiple workstreams simultaneously, translating client priorities into actionable media recommendations and supporting fast-turnaround planning conversations. The team is looking for somebody curious, proactive and commercially minded, with an interest in performance strategy and a desire to continue developing broader strategic capability over time.

Core Responsibilities
  • Support the Planning Lead as a key day-to-day contact for clients, helping maintain strong working relationships and ensuring stakeholders remain informed on campaign activity and delivery.
  • Obtain briefs from clients and work with relevant teams to develop clear, commercially grounded responses aligned to business objectives and trading priorities.
  • Support planning and implementation recommendations across digital and offline media, with particular exposure to paid social, PPC, online video and performance-led activity.
  • Create clean, well-structured decks, updates and summaries that make campaign performance and media strategy easy for clients to understand.
  • Present recommendations and media plans to clients, clearly explaining channel roles, rationale and delivery approach.
  • Brief, manage and coordinate channel specialists to ensure high-quality work delivered accurately and on time.
  • Monitor live campaign performance and work with specialist teams to identify optimisation opportunities and necessary adjustments.
  • Support digital and integrated reporting, ensuring outputs are accurate, timely and commercially useful.
  • Coordinate and maintain core account management documents including finance trackers, media plans, campaign updates and status documents.
  • Use industry tools, client data and audience insight platforms to support planning recommendations and channel strategy.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with media owners and external partners, supporting negotiation of opportunities and added value for clients.
  • Use Excel at an intermediate level, including formulas, reporting and campaign tracking.
  • Support wider agency initiatives, pitches and team projects alongside day-to-day client responsibilities.
  • Continue developing knowledge across planning, performance media, data, insight and strategy through collaboration with specialist teams and senior stakeholders.
