Limitless Expertise is on the lookout for a passionate and empathetic Buyer Service Chat Specialist to join our international remote community of freelance support professionals. In this role, you’ll represent one of the world’s most recognised gaming brands, working alongside hundreds of other gamers, using their expert knowledge to help other players enjoy seamless experiences through fast, clear, and friendly chat support. You’ll handle inquiries, solve problems, and make every interaction feel smooth for the customer.

This is a fully remote, freelance, hourly paid opportunity. Shifts are currently available Monday to Friday 9am-6:30pm UTC. Our hourly rates are between $5-$20, depending on where you are in the world, and there are always quality and volume-based incentives in addition. You get to choose your own shift. To maintain your spot within the squad, it’s essential to average at least 20 hours each week and 100 or more chat interactions. Going forward, there will be opportunities to support international markets, meaning we will soon offer 24/7 shift slots available to truly maximise your opportunity! This is ideal for someone who enjoys helping other product users and values flexibility in when and how they work.

What you’ll do:

  • Engage with customers via chat to answer questions, resolve issues, and guide them to solutions.
  • Deliver accurate, high-quality support that meets service standards and reflects the brand’s tone and values.
  • Identify and escalate complicated cases to specialist teams when required.
  • Maintain clear and consistent documentation of all interactions.
  • Stay updated with new product updates, service information, and policies to provide knowledgeable support.
  • Share feedback on recurring issues to help improve the customer experience.

What you’ll need:

  • Proven experience in customer service, ideally within chat or digital support.
  • Exceptional written English with strong spelling and grammar.
  • Confidence in using multiple tools and systems simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail, empathy, and problem-solving ability.
  • A reliable internet connection and personal computer.
  • Flexibility to work across shifts, including evenings or weekends, when needed.

There are other client-specific criteria such as a valid PSN ID that has been active for 1 year or more, 8 hours or more of monthly game play, and no community suspensions within the last year. You must have at least a Windows 11, 64-bit device. We will soon support Mac and Chromebooks.
