THE·TEAM is seeking a motivated & dynamic Manager to join our Strategy & Consulting team, working on American Express. The role will sit within the broader Brands & Properties division, and the individual will lead the day-to-day management of select partnerships, developing and executing measurement approaches across core experiential, digital, social and retail programs, as well as supporting broader strategic initiatives across the business. This position is responsible for leading, developing and managing a variety of current and prospective business relationships, sponsorships, and other partnerships in order to ensure client satisfaction.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Supports the day-to-day management of select partnerships, with responsibility for crafting, executing, and measuring key social, digital, and experiential programs.
  • Prioritises the client relationship with the strategy and measurement team, developing and executing research and measurement methodologies tied to global, regional and local sponsorships.
  • Translate large datasets into actionable insights and present those findings across the organisation to a variety of audiences.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to develop and refine client deliverables, such as presentations, strategic insights, reporting tools, and supporting materials.
  • Performs research and analysis of various demographics and statistics to help inform strategies, initiatives, and audience insights.
  • Monitors media, trends and changing sports, entertainment and cultural landscape to keep company executives and team members aware of competitor and industry movement.
  • Conduct analysis on competitor activity on a global, regional and local scale evaluating marketing performance and effectiveness.
  • Project manage all campaign measurement deliverables across a variety of sponsorship properties, spanning Music & Entertainment & Sport.
  • Performs various tasks as needed by internal team members such as research, reports, daily updates, editing of materials, ad hoc strategic asks etc.
  • Maintains positive relationships with clients to encourage new and repeat business opportunities.
  • Coordinates client and company programs through various tools such as email, phone calls, and conference calls.

SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree
  • 4+ years relevant experience with minimum 2 years of direct experience in account and project management (preferably in the sports or entertainment field).
  • Experience with econometric modelling (preferred)
  • Data science/coding experience (preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organised.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite, particularly with PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
  • Innate curiosity, proactive thinking and the ability to isolate key insights that will contribute to practical strategic recommendations.
