Due to growth within a key client’s global partnership portfolio, THE·TEAM is seeking a dynamic and motivated Sr Account Manager to support the planning and execution of a global sports brand partnership within the NFL. The Sr Account Manager will help deliver high-profile NFL International activations for the client, supporting live events and brand presence across multiple international markets to create best-in-class fan experiences.
This role requires strong client service and project management experience, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and a proven track record managing clients and projects within the live experience space. You will be responsible for supporting the planning and delivery of year one of a multi-year brand partnership, leading key milestone projects throughout the year while providing ongoing support to senior account and client leads.
Working closely with partnership, strategy, creative, production, and content teams, you will support budget management and delivery processes, with a primary focus on client management - maintaining clear, concise communication, keeping clients informed throughout, and proactively managing expectations. You must have the ability to command the respect of the wider team, leave your ego at the door, be a flexible team player and an ambassador for THE·TEAM and our clients at all times.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- Assists in the day-to-day management of global activation vertical, under the supervision of the Account Director
- Clearly communicate client needs to all internal teams/departments and manage progress/output
- Update the team regularly on account/project status highlighting key points
- Develop and manage project timing plans, ensuring alignment across all teams
- Lead presentations of work, project updates, budget etc. where necessary both in written format (PPT/decks etc.) and in face-to-face presentations
- Ensure projects are delivered to brief, SOW, budget, deadline and KPI's
- Trouble shoot and problem solve
Client Management:
- Day to day client contact working to deliver global activation planning and delivery
- Set up and lead client meetings ensuring agendas and minutes are circulated
- Lead client communications including all documentation (status report updates, meeting contact reports, meeting agendas etc.)
- Instil confidence regarding all aspects of delivery of the project in the eyes of the client
Budget & Commercial Support:
- Support budget tracking and reconciliation across assigned workstreams
- Contribute to the development of budget components for larger projects
- Maintain awareness of project scope and support the team in identifying efficiencies
Team Collaboration & Stakeholder Coordination:
- Work collaboratively across internal teams, contributing to a positive and supportive working environment
- Assist senior team members with project delivery, taking ownership of defined tasks and smaller workstreams
- Act as a reliable point of contact for day-to-day communications with external stakeholders

Requirements:
- At least 5+ years associated industry experience with agency background
- High-level proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, with advanced skills in PowerPoint
- Significant brand building experience either in-house or agency
- Experience and interest in NFL and/or Sports and entertainment industries
- Expert knowledge of project management fundamentals
- Exposure to budget tracking and financial processes, with the ability to support larger budget builds
- Proven account management skills required in order to create, maintain and enhance client relationships
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess a ‘can-do’ attitude at all times
- Happy to travel internationally at key points across the calendar year to deliver international events
