Working in a hugely innovative area, our team are building products revolutionising the hospitality industry. For the next phase of our growth, we are looking for an experienced Senior Software Developer to be a key member of our team who will be involved in the full product development life cycle playing a significant role in delivering innovative solutions that are changing the way we all interact with pubs, restaurants, and hotels.

Main Duties:

  • You will collaborate closely with the Product Owner and Development Manager to ensure the road map is defined.
  • You will help lead the design and architecture of the products in collaboration with technical architects.
  • You will assist in the maintenance of the technical backlog in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • You will collaborate closely with other team members and become a valued member of an autonomous, cross-functional team.
  • You will collaborate closely with the Software Development Manager to help ensure the delivery is in scope and on time.
  • You will help the team and contribute to the plan, design, and shape of highly responsive solutions.
  • With your help, the team will ensure that our customer’s experience is the best it can be.
  • You will be responsible for owning and managing your own personal learning and objectives.

People Responsibilities:

  • Mentor and coach team members in good practice and design.
  • Promote teamwork and engagement.
  • Help run technical guilds in collaboration with senior developers and technical leads.
  • Assist the Development Manager with recruitment.
  • Participate in product and technical designs to ensure that the team delivers value in each increment.
  • You will help the team plan, design, and release quality solutions.
  • Performing code reviews to ensure that all code follows agreed standards.
  • Actively looking for and suggesting improvements in our processes.
