Working in a hugely innovative area, our team are building products revolutionising the hospitality industry. For the next phase of our growth, we are looking for an experienced Senior Software Developer to be a key member of our team who will be involved in the full product development life cycle playing a significant role in delivering innovative solutions that are changing the way we all interact with pubs, restaurants, and hotels, who shares our passion for driving innovation and using technology to build better businesses.
Main Duties:
- You will collaborate closely with the Product Owner and Development Manager to ensure the road map is defined.
- You will help lead the design and architecture of the products in collaboration with technical architects.
- You will assist in the maintenance of the technical backlog in collaboration with stakeholders.
- You will collaborate closely with other team members and become a valued member of an autonomous, cross-functional team.
- You will collaborate closely with the Software Development Manager to help ensure the delivery is in scope and on time.
- You will help the team and contribute to the plan, design, and shape of highly responsive solutions.
- With your help, the team will ensure that our customer’s experience is the best it can be.
- You will be responsible for owning and managing your own personal learning and objectives.
People Responsibilities:
- Mentor and coach team members in good practice and design.
- Promote teamwork and engagement.
- Help run technical guilds in collaboration with senior developers and technical leads.
- Assist the Development Manager with recruitment.
- Participate in product and technical designs to ensure that team delivers value in each increment.
- You will help the team plan, design, and release quality solutions.
- Performing code reviews to ensure that all code follows agreed standards.
- Actively looking for and suggesting improvements in our processes.
