The role of Waiter/Waitress
- Customer Service Excellence: Provide warm and welcoming service to all guests. Assist guests in menu selections, offering recommendations when necessary. Ensure a seamless and delightful experience for every guest.
- Order Management: Take accurate and detailed orders from guests, catering to individual preferences. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely and precise order preparation. Handle special requests and dietary requirements with efficiency and attention.
- Table Maintenance: Set up dining areas with attention to detail, including table settings and cleanliness. Monitor and manage the flow of service, clearing tables promptly to maintain a tidy and inviting atmosphere. Assist in restocking and organizing station as needed.
- Product Knowledge: Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and beverage offerings. Stay informed about daily specials, promotions, and any changes to the menu.
- Upselling and Promotion: Promote additional items, specials, and food pairings to enhance the overall guest experience. Upsell when appropriate to increase sales and guest satisfaction.
