About The Zetter

Rooted in London and shaped by its diversity, creativity, and character, our business is built on individuality, warmth, and human connection. Across our hotels and hospitality-led spaces in the UK and Europe, we believe culture is not a set of policies, it’s how people feel at work and how that energy carries through to our guests.

Our Sales team plays a key role in bringing guests through our doors, building relationships, creating partnerships, and driving demand in a way that feels authentic to who we are. We focus on meaningful connections, not hard selling, and we care deeply about delivering the right experience for every guest and client.

The Role

The Groups & Events Executive is a commercially driven, dual-focused sales and planning role based in London, responsible for supporting the growth of business across our hotels and hospitality-led spaces. Reporting to the Cluster Groups & Events Sales Manager, you will play a key role in both securing new business and delivering seamless event experiences from enquiry through to execution.

You’ll build and nurture relationships, drive new business, and grow existing accounts, while also managing the planning journey from first enquiry through to delivery. From initial conversations to final touches, you’ll ensure every event feels seamless, considered, and true to our brand.

We’re looking for someone who is proactive, organised, and naturally people-focused—someone who enjoys both the buzz of sales and the satisfaction of seeing a well-planned event come together. Working closely with Sales, Revenue, Marketing, and Operations teams, you’ll balance performance with a warm, human approach that reflects The Zetter’s personality at every stage.

Experience & Capability

  • Previous experience in a sales role, ideally within hospitality, travel, events, lifestyle, or service-led industries.
  • A relationship-led approach with strong interpersonal skills and natural confidence.
  • Commercially aware with motivation to drive revenue and performance outcomes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a polished, guest-friendly style.
  • Highly organised with good attention to detail.
  • Comfortable using CRM systems and confident working with reporting and targets. Experience using Opera Cloud and Opera Sales & Catering would be a plus.
  • A proactive, energetic mindset — you enjoy building connections and making things happen.
  • Able to work collaboratively across teams and manage competing priorities.
  • Willingness to travel locally and occasionally further if required.
