The Zetter is a quiet celebration of intimate spaces, timeless imperfection, and unapologetic British eccentricity. With our collection of boutique hotels, townhouses, and parlours nestled in London's most characterful neighbourhoods, we offer more than a stay - we curate experiences brimming with thoughtful details, curated charm, and stories layered into every corner. Our food and drink are an extension of this ethos - carefully crafted menus, perfectly poured cocktails, and service that feels warm, attentive, and never scripted. We believe that dining and drinking at The Zetter should be as memorable as sleeping under our roofs.

Just moments away from the British Museum, our Bloomsbury townhouse is a design-led hideaway full of characterful rooms and suites, a gym, and tranquil garden-plus a parlour and terrace made for long, leisurely cocktails.

About The Role:

  • Operational Support: Restock spirits, wines, beers, garnishes, glassware, ice, and other bar essentials throughout service. Prepare and maintain ice wells, garnish stations, mixers, and back-bar displays. Assist bartenders with basic prep work (e.g., cutting garnishes, refilling syrups, preparing juices).
  • Cleanliness & Hygiene: Ensure the bar area, service stations, storage areas, and equipment remain clean, organised, and safe. Collect and wash glassware promptly; polish glasses where required. Dispose of rubbish and recycling, ensuring compliance with hotel recycling procedures. Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and health & safety regulations.
  • Stock Management: Support stock rotation (FIFO), checking dates and product quality. Refill fridges and maintain stock presentation standards. Report low stock or equipment issues to the manager promptly. Assist with deliveries, stock counts, and inventory where required.
  • Service Support: Help deliver water, snacks, or simple items to guests during busy periods (if trained and authorised). Maintain a calm, professional presence during peak service, supporting the wider team. Communicate effectively with bartenders and floor staff to keep service flowing smoothly.
