About The Role of Breakfast Supervisor:
- Guest Service
- Prepare and serve a full range of coffee, tea, and speciality beverages to brand and quality standards.
- Provide warm, attentive, personalised service for all guests.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and inviting service area.
- Respond to guest feedback calmly, professionally, and proactively.
- Manage the breakfast service for the hotel, including making hot & cold beverages, serving tables, and engaging with guests.
- Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, brewers, and point-of-sale systems safely and confidently.
- Liaise with management team and suppliers for machine and equipment maintenance.
- Liaise with the kitchen team to ensure menu items are available and to communicate any shortages.
- Handover efficiently to the evening team and duty management.
- Ensure correct food handling, hygiene, and allergen practices at all times.
- Manage and order stock such as tea and coffee.
- Follow opening, closing, and cleaning procedures.
- Ensure consistency in product quality, presentation, and taste.
- Calibrate equipment daily and monitor product freshness.
- Adhere to company policies, brand standards, and health & safety requirements.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across F&B and Front of House.
- Deliver barista training for new and existing team members.
- Support new team members during onboarding where required.
- Communicate operational issues or guest feedback to the manager promptly.
Breakfast Supervisor Requirements:
- Previous barista and waiter experience is required; supervisory/management experience is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work weekday and weekend mornings.
- Right to work in UK.
