Essential Requirements:
- Management or Health and Social Care qualification or equivalent to Diploma/ Degree/NVQ 5 or equivalent work level experience.
- Experience of supporting women, men and children who have been subject to domestic violence and abuse and/or sexual violence and abuse/stalking.
- Experience of managing, supporting, supervising, motivating and developing teams and individuals.
The Role: The Paragon Team Leader will work with the Paragon Manager to support the delivery of all operational aspects of Paragon, focusing on supporting the team and day-to-day delivery of commissioned and grant‑funded work. They will ensure that all work is carried out within contractual requirements and this involves multi‑agency working, engaging with local partners. They will work effectively with the Paragon Manager to lead on allocated working priorities which may include accommodation and community‑based teams, both grant‑funded and contracted. This will include, for example, 24/7 access to support, the intake of county‑wide enquiries and allocation of referrals, outreach and accommodation support, working with individuals and children. They will provide supervision, case management, case audits and database oversight and will deputise for the Manager in their absence.
About You: You will be experienced, skilled and enthusiastic. You will be used to working in a fast‑paced environment. You will be passionate about working with women, men and children who have been subject to domestic violence and abuse and/or sexual violence and abuse/stalking. You will work alongside our clients as an equal partner and give advice and guidance at a level matching the person's skills and strengths. Developing positive working relationships with the local community and support agencies to create a network of support for your clients will be central to the work you do.
