Salary: £17,880.75 plus £506.25 MRA (£26,490pa plus £750 MRA FTE)
Contract Type: Permanent, Part Time (Typical hours are 27 hours per week plus sleep in shifts)

Essential Criteria:

- Ability to work shifts including evenings, weekends and bank holidays
- Experience of supporting people with a variety of needs including personal care, money management, accessing the community and household chores
- Hold a UK manual Driving Licence or be willing to use your own car
- Good communication skills: verbal, non-verbal, and written
- Be able to do sleep-in shifts
The Role:
We're recruiting for Support Workers to join our Learning Disabilities Service in Petersfield. This is a great opportunity to support clients with learning disabilities manage different parts of their lives in a Supported Living setting. You'll be supporting with daily tasks like cooking, cleaning, and accessing into the community. Clients will also need support with personal care, including toileting. Your role is to provide safe, person-centred support to boost our client’s independence and help them live their lives the way they want to. Every day is different in this job. You will need to be a flexible, patient, caring, and kind person.
About You:
You need to be professional and proactive in all that you do, with a motivational, encouraging and supportive approach with clients and colleagues alike. Relevant knowledge and skills relating to individuals with a learning disability would assist you in this role, but if you are the right person for the job, we will support you to gain the experience you need.
