YOU is a registered charity that has been providing care, support and advice for over 30 years to vulnerable people, working across Hampshire, Dorset, West Sussex, Wiltshire, Somerset and the Isle of Wight to give them the tools and resources they need to live independent, secure and valued lives.
Help someone reconnect with their community and feel the wind in their hair again. We’re looking for friendly, confident cyclists to volunteer as Pilots, taking people who are isolated or have limited mobility out on relaxed trishaw rides around their local area. It’s about conversation, connection and sharing stories – not speed.
Responsibilities- Volunteer as Pilots, taking people who are isolated or have limited mobility out on relaxed trishaw rides around the local area.
- Confident cycling skills and road awareness
- A friendly, patient, can-do attitude
- Just 3 hours a month (minimum 6 months)
- Full training & DBS check
- Ongoing support
