Essential Requirements:
- Be the first point of contact for people who wish to engage with the service, speaking with victims, survivors, their families and other professionals and workers.
- Be confident and comfortable when talking to people in crisis and when carrying out initial assessments via the phone.
- Understand the impact of violence and abuse on a person and offer a supportive and empathic response.
- Be a skilled and able administrator and offer a full clerical and administrative service to the whole team.
- Support the manager to gather data to ensure compliance with Key Performance Indicators.
The Role:
The You First Single Point of Contact (SPOC) Partner supports the wider team with the delivery of the service as directed. You will support the delivery of the integrated service and be the first point of contact for clients, professionals and others via the SPOC phone and email. You will answer enquiries, take down referral information accurately and collate information from referrals and direct assessments. You will be able to manage an online case management system, inputting accurate information which will inform contractual and stakeholders reporting requirements. The post holder will work with others in the SPOC team and the wider integrated team to ensure 24/7 cover of the SPOC.
About You:
This role will require a person with skills and experience to be able to support the development and delivery of commissioned service. You will be able to work independently to meet the required Key Performance Indicators and be a skilled communicator with a desire to take your practice to the next level. You will be passionate and confident, and be able to use your skills, knowledge and experience to develop a service that meets national accreditation levels. You will have an understanding and commitment to a wide range of values that underpin this work including being non‑judgemental, person centred, trauma informed and gender responsive and be able to demonstrate these values. You will hold values that inspire a client‑led approach and be self‑motivating, reflective and have a positive response to challenging situations.
