The Yorkshire uPVC & Kitchen Spraying Company Ltd are looking for an experienced Spray Painter to join our expanding team ideally based in West Yorkshire. The role covers servicing customers across the Yorkshire region.
The Spray Painter role requires a team player with experience, skills, and knowledge in wet paint spraying 2k, Vinyl and AC paint products, as well as preparation of materials/components.

Working hours will be 40 basic hours per week Monday to Friday 8am until 4:30pm with a break for lunch. Paid overtime and weekend work is available.
The Role in More DetailPrimarily wet painting primer, 2K and AC paint using HVLP systems, primer and gloss paint (2 pack systems), preferably within a commercial/manufacturing or car-related industry. An appreciation of the Health & Safety hazards when using paint, specifically Isocyanates & flammable liquids. Working as a team player to achieve customer quality, delivery, cost, and innovation requirements.
Qualifications and Experience- Experience in spraying with an understanding of the effects of poor preparation and/or poor paint application can have in terms of inconsistent film thickness, sheen levels, orange peel appearance & colour variations.
- Experience with wet painting primer and 2k/AC paint using HVLP systems, preferably within a manufacturing or car industry.
- An appreciation of the Health & Safety hazards when using paints, specifically Isocyanates & flammable liquids.
- Experienced in using & maintaining respiratory equipment.
- Carry out small remedial works i.e., Filling and Sanding, Drilling and Fitting of Handles and holes for kitchens.
- Disassemble/cleaning of own equipment.
- Able to use manual and power tools.
- Clean and prepare surfaces for painting, masking up and sanding down.
- Select and mix paint according to colour scheme and specifications.
- High level of skill and attention to detail.
- Able to work to agreed deadlines to a high standard.
- Ability to read, write and communicate at all levels in English.
- Skilled in spraying both kitchens and uPVC windows, with high artisanship.
- 3 Years Spraying Experience required (candidates without this cannot be considered)
- Ideally previous experience with spraying kitchens and/or uPVC
- Previous professional experience within a prepping and spraying environment is essential
- Full UK drivers licence
