This family is looking for a warm, gentle and nurturing nanny to work alongside them in their home.
One of the main parts of the role will be helping with their 10
year old, home educated son – accompanying him on educational adventures, inside and outside the house.
Teaching is not expected – the family are looking for someone who will enjoy coming alongside him as he explores topics and does
hands-on activities, overseeing him during his more independent learning times, helping him with transitions to structured tuition sessions with external providers, and eventually also taking him on trips and to his group activities.
Other parts of the role will include working flexibly to provide fun and engagement for their toddler at certain points, preparing meals and undertaking some housekeeping duties (tidying, meals, laundry etc), and potentially caring for brief periods for their baby, or accompanying them on some family outings.
The family hope to find someone who will enjoy working alongside them to assist with the smooth running of their busy household, bringing a sense of kindness, fun and creativity.
Nannying experience is essential, preferably with experience and an
interest in child development, child-led education and SEN/additional needs.
