The Opportunity

We are looking for a Head of Business Development to lead the Foundation's fundraising, partnerships, and income growth strategy. As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, this role drives diverse income streams, including corporate partnerships, sponsorships, philanthropy, trusts and foundations, and public sector funding, to ensure sustainable investment in impactful cricket and community programmes. The role also oversees impact, monitoring, and reporting, ensuring every partnership and funding opportunity contributes to measurable outcomes and strengthens YCF's profile and reach across the county. This is a chance to make a real difference in Yorkshire Cricket, shaping growth, building partnerships, and supporting inclusive, sustainable programmes that inspire communities.

About You

We are looking for people who meet the below criteria:

  • 4+ years' experience in senior-level business development, income generation, fundraising, or commercial partnership roles, ideally within sport, charity, community development or similar sectors
  • Demonstrable success in securing high-value partnerships, sponsorships, grants, or philanthropic donations
  • Experience developing strategic business development, commercial, or fundraising plans
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
