YES is a pioneering, award-winning brand dedicated to creating certified organic intimacy and personal care products that put people’s wellbeing first. Trusted by healthcare professionals and loved by customers around the world, YES combines clinical credibility with compassionate care. With renewed focus on unlocking growth, we’re seeking a passionate and driven professional to help accelerate growth within our priority UK accounts.
The National Account Manager (NAM) role will take full ownership of a portfolio of priority accounts including Boots, Superdrug, Tesco, Sainsbury’s, pharmacy wholesalers, and NHS distribution partners. This is a high impact commercial role for a growing consumer healthcare business with bold ambitions in the UK and US.
Reporting into the Sales & Marketing Director (SMD), the NAM will be responsible for driving net sales through improved sell out, distribution growth, executional excellence and supporting the SMD to evolve the business’ global route to market strategy. This role suits a commercially sharp, hands-on account manager who thrives close to the detail, takes ownership of growth at shelf, and can also step back to think strategically about how the business should scale.
Key Responsibilities- Own day-to-day and strategic relationships with priority customers including Boots, Superdrug, Tesco, Sainsbury’s, pharmacy wholesalers and NHS channels.
- Deliver sell-out-led growth, owning plans that improve rate of sale, availability and on-shelf execution.
- Execute customer-specific plans to deliver net sales, volume and gross margin targets.
- Lead the development and execution of velocity-driving activity at shelf, including promotions, visibility, merchandising and online activation.
- Ensure flawless execution of in-store and online activity, closely tracking performance and optimising for repeatable growth.
- Identify opportunities to expand distribution, ranging, space, visibility and activation within existing customers.
- Build strong relationships with buyers and key stakeholders across retail, pharmacy and wholesale customers.
- Champion consumer insights to support customer growth and brand credibility.
- Act as an ambassador for the company at trade & customer events.
- Own priority account forecasting in collaboration with Demand Planning.
- Work cross-functionally to translate brand strategy into effective retail execution, in the absence of a dedicated retail marketing team.
- Contribute to building scalable processes and ways of working suitable for a growing business.
- Provide regular performance reports to SMD & Finance Director including sales vs target, forecast updates and risks/opportunities by channel.
- Proven experience as a National Account Manager within consumer healthcare, FMCG, OTC or pharmacy-led.
- Must have experience managing pharmacy & NHS distribution.
- Direct experience managing Boots and/or Superdrug, plus at least one major grocery retailer (Tesco, Sainsbury’s or similar) preferred.
- Proven record of delivering outstanding business results and exceeding targets.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a genuine appetite to help shape our business growth.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with ability to roll up sleeves.
