The Yehudi Menuhin School is seeking a German Teacher to deliver engaging and effective lessons from beginner to A-level. This is a permanent position, between part-time 0.7 (FTE) and full-time.

The key areas of responsibility are as follows:

  • Plan, prepare and teach a timetable of German across all age ranges as directed by the Head of MFL and Deputy Head.
  • Be aware of the diverse needs within any given class and differentiate lessons and resources accordingly.
  • Understand and implement the aims and objectives of the School and the department, contributing to its vibrant and creative atmosphere.
  • Regularly mark pupils’ work and engage in continual assessment of pupils’ progress, preparing lessons accordingly.
  • Set and mark Private Study (homework) according to the timetable and in line with departmental policy.

Salary: £35,000-£40,000 per annum

Closing date: Tuesday 5th May 2026 at 12 noon

Start date: 1st September 2026
