Description Du Poste
En pleine croissance, The Yard VFX évolue et se transforme. Des projets d’envergure internationale nous amènent à renforcer nos équipes. Immergé au cœur de cette émulsion et entourés de passionnés, nous recherchons un/e Lead Lighting Technical Director. A l'échelle du projet, le/la Lighting Lead est garant/e des standards de qualité, présentation, et méthodologie du Studio mis en place par les Lighting Hod et Supervisor. Vous contribuerez de manière significative à la création d'éléments visuels pour le(s) projets qui vous sont assignés. Votre expertise en lighting, lookdev et intégration ainsi que votre expérience du travail en équipe est essentielle pour la réalisation de nos productions.
Principales missions
- Mettre en place des outils/workflow sur le projet selon les standards du studio, en étroite collaboration avec les Comp supervisors, leads et CG Supervisor du projet;
- Découper les shots et identifier les key shots par séquence pour le projet;
- Mettre en place et assigner les différentes tâches de Lighting pour l’équipe;
- Assurer la review et les retours sur le travail des équipes lighting du projet;
- Assurer un suivi régulier du planning en collaboration avec le/la Line Producer du projet;
- Assurer le suivi individuel et la montée en compétences des artistes de l’équipe lighting sur le projet;
- Mettre en place et maintenir un niveau d’optimisation des rendus adapté aux besoins du projet;
- Assurer, en collaboration avec le/la CG Supervisor, la livraison du projet par l’équipe Lighting.
Compétences requises
- Maîtrise éprouvée des principes fondamentaux d’intégration, de calibration et d'éclairage en VFX;
- Excellent sens de l’organisation et de l'anticipation relative au poste;
- Bonne communication en Français et en Anglais (oral et écrit);
- Capacité à fédérer une équipe;
- Capacité à déléguer et à remonter les problèmes qui ne sont pas de la responsabilité du poste;
- Capacité à gérer son stress et à s’adapter aux imprévus.
Prérequis
- Au moins une expérience de lead (séquence ou projet) sur un projet en CGI;
- Expérience d’au moins 5 projets en département lighting sur des projets VFX.
