Old Street Tavern is a modern take on the classic City pub, located right outside Old Street Station. By day we’re a busy meeting spot and lunch destination, and by night we turn into a high‑energy bar with live sport, DJs and great food. We’re the go‑to place for after‑work drinks, big match nights and late‑evening socials – fast paced, fun and always buzzing.

We’re looking for a Front of House Team Member to join our team. No previous bar experience? No problem – full training is provided. We’re looking for personality, energy and people who enjoy being around others.

What we’re looking for:

  • Friendly, confident and enjoy talking to people.
  • Positive and reliable with a good work ethic.
  • Happy working in a busy environment (we get very busy!).
  • A team player who supports others and gets stuck in.
  • Keen to learn new skills and grow within hospitality.
  • Retail, coffee shop or customer service experience is a bonus – but attitude matters more than experience.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Welcoming guests and creating a great first impression.
  • Taking food and drink orders and serving customers.
  • Running food and drinks and keeping service smooth.
  • Helping keep the bar and floor organised and clean.
  • Working with the team during busy services, sports nights and events.
  • Learning bar skills, drinks knowledge and service standards.
  • Receiving full training and support from the management team.
