We are now offering an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed Finance Apprentice to join our in‑house finance team. This is a career‑development role where you will gain hands‑on experience, work alongside experienced finance professionals, and achieve a Level 3 Assistant Accountant Apprenticeship.
What You’ll Do
- Financial Services – assisting with month‑end processes, internal and external audit processes and performing balance sheet reconciliations.
- Customer Experience Finance – assisting in monitoring and reporting on budgets for housing management and repair services, and analysing expenditure related to responsive and planned maintenance.
- Care and Support Finance – assisting in budget monitoring, cost allocation and income monitoring, and financial reporting relating to contracts and NHS/Local Authority funding streams.
- Rents and Service Charges – assisting with service charge calculations and maintenance of customer accounts, and analysing rent and service charge income data.
You will also develop technical accounting knowledge, commercial awareness, and an understanding of how finance supports operational service delivery within the housing sector.
