We are looking to engage with Bank Assistant Chefs to support our passionate catering teams across Telford, Shrewsbury, Oswestry, Wombourne, Cannock, Whitchurch, Newcastle-under-Lyme and Stafford. The Catering teams deliver a range of breakfast and lunch options 7 days a week 365 days a year between the hours of 7am to 3pm, with a skilled catering team. You will be engaged as a casual worker which means that the organisation is under no obligation to offer you work nor are you under any obligation to accept any work offered. What you will be doing:
- Delivering quality food and beverage options to a range of customers with varying needs
- Ensuring all health and safety legislation is adhered to and the kitchen and Café have high standards of cleanliness
- Assisting the Chef Manager in effectively managing the catering service
- Supporting the Chef Manager in providing a varied menu that supports the dietary requirements of our residents
- Having a friendly approach towards visitors and residents
- Monitoring the kitchen area to ensure sanitation standards are maintained
About you:
- You will be someone who has the ability to create great food, that is well presented, full of flavour, balanced and nutritional
- You will have experience of ordering supplies and carrying out stock takes
- You will embrace processes and procedures along with adding in a good measure of your creativity
- You will be open to new ideas and thinking out of the box
