The Role

An Advanced Craft Carpenter is responsible for delivering a high‑quality, customer‑focused responsive repairs service across the company’s housing portfolio. Carry out a full range of carpentry works and additional multi‑skilled repairs in line with the Advanced Craft Skills Matrix. Support the Group’s same‑day repairs service and wider maintenance obligations as part of a Regional Responsive Repairs and Maintenance team. Operate across a seven‑day service, adopting a proactive ‘stay and do’ approach to maximise right‑first‑time repairs, minimise repeat visits and improve customer outcomes. Complete continuous professional development to further support your role and the Group.

Qualifications

  • Hold a City and Guilds qualification in one of the building trades or equivalent experience.
  • Post‑apprenticeship experience, particularly in the maintenance of domestic properties.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Basic DBS Check.
