We're looking for an enthusiastic Risk and Assurance Trainee to join our team. You don't need previous experience - we'll provide all the training, support and mentoring you need to build a successful career. This is an exciting opportunity for someone at the start of their career, or someone looking for a career change, to gain practical experience while working towards a recognised professional qualification.

As a Risk and Assurance Trainee, you'll play an important role in helping us make informed decisions, improve services and ensure we're delivering on our commitments to customers and communities.

About the Role:

As a Risk and Assurance Trainee, you'll work closely with colleagues across the organisation to help identify, assess and manage risks, support assurance activities and promote a culture of continuous improvement. You’ll use risk management to inform decision making and help us deliver safe, high-quality homes and excellent services to our customers.

What we’re looking for:

You don't need previous experience in risk or assurance. We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic with a willingness to learn and have:

  • The ability to build positive working relationships;
  • Strong written and excellent verbal communication skills;
  • Ability to analyse information, identify risks and present findings clearly;
  • Good problem-solving abilities;
  • Confidence in using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Excel and Word;
  • The ability to handle confidential information.
