Day in the life of a Facilities Officer
In this role, you’ll support the smooth day‑to‑day operation of our corporate and commercial buildings, helping to ensure our facilities services are delivered efficiently, safely and to a consistent standard. Reporting to the Facilities Manager – Corporate Buildings, you’ll:
- Respond to building-related issues and queries
- Support compliance and health & safety requirements
- Carry out low-level repairs and basic maintenance tasks (within your level of competence)

- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities (essential)
- Confident communication skills, with the ability to work with colleagues and contractors (essential)
- Experience maintaining records and using digital systems (essential)
- Willingness to undertake training and continuous professional development (essential)
- A full UK driving licence (essential)
