We're now looking for an Events, Community & Digital Fundraising Manager to join our friendly and ambitious Fundraising Development team. If you love bringing people together, creating brilliant supporter experiences and using digital innovation to drive impact, this could be the role for you. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and grow WCRF's events, community and digital fundraising programmes at a time of real momentum. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our fundraising future, building on the success of our running and challenge events, expanding our community fundraising activity, and driving our digital fundraising strategy.
Responsibilities
- Lead and grow events, community fundraising and digital fundraising programmes at WCRF.
- Develop and implement engaging digital and virtual fundraising campaigns, using insight and data to optimise performance, test new ideas and maximise return on investment.
- Manage budgets, forecasting and reporting to ensure ambitious income targets are met.
- Lead and support the Events & Community Fundraiser to help them thrive and develop.
- Collaborate with colleagues across Fundraising, Health Information and Communications & Engagement (especially the Digital team) to deliver integrated, data-led campaigns that align with WCRF's mission.
- Ensure a strong supporter journey and outstanding stewardship to grow income and deepen long-term relationships.
- Demonstrate creativity, organisation and collaboration; lead projects from idea to delivery; work with data and insight; and test new approaches.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience across at least two of the following areas: events, community fundraising and digital fundraising.
- Confident in leading projects from idea to delivery and in working with data and insight to drive decisions.
- Ability to test new approaches and adapt strategies accordingly.
- Strong commitment to supporter experience and making a real difference.
- An interest in healthy living and cancer prevention is not essential but would be advantageous.
