Our client is looking for a consultative Sales and Project Manager with a strong interest in design and landscaping. This role offers full ownership of projects from initial client consultation through to on-site delivery and final handover, making it ideal for a commercially minded professional who enjoys seeing their designs and sales turn into high-quality finished landscapes.
You would get to work within an experienced Design Team, providing potential clients with reliable and workable solutions for their garden projects.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Converting warm leads into sales with a consultative and solution-based approach
- Understanding the client's requirements and liaising with the design team to then present ideas through drawings and aided design
- Project Manage on site, providing clear instruction and leadership for the onsite team
- Acting as the main point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle
- Producing accurate project costings, quotations and managing margins
Experience and Skills:
- Experience in sales and Project Management is essential
- Horticulture knowledge and/or a qualification is essential
- Experience in landscaping or garden design is desirable but a keen interest is essential
- It is essential that you are computer literate and ideally have experience using CAD, KeySCAPE or Sketchup
- Must be based locally to Southampton
