Our client is looking for an Inspector with mechanical parts inspection experience to join our fast-paced and friendly manufacturing team. You will be working closely with our skilled Workshop and CNC Section staff to ensure our exacting quality standards are maintained. You will need to have experience in the measurement and record keeping required when inspecting CNC machined metal parts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake Internal and External Fittings Inspection inclusive of the Rejection process where required
- Ensure correct fit of fuel lines as per designated checking fixture
- First off Machining Inspection
- Fuel line End form Inspection prior to production runs
- Be aware of weekly order shipping dates to ensure timely Final Inspection of fuel lines
- Patch-Test approval: Monitoring of and approval of cleanliness requirements
- Dealing with general workshop inspection queries
- Quality responsibilities
- Upkeep of existing Work Instruction Documents related to Quality and Inspection and preparation of new documents where appropriate
- Aid Quality Engineer in the timely upkeep of all Calibration (Jigs, tools, gauges etc)
- Health and Safety responsibilities
- Devise new COSHH and Risk Assessments while maintaining current versions
- Possible preparation of Health and Safety notes for the monthly meeting
What You'll Need:
- Ability to read and interpret Technical Engineering Drawings
- Ability to work to process guides and to create them where required
