Have you experience working within events or conference planning, coordination and project management? Are you looking for a role with occasional UK and overseas travel to attend events that you produce? Are you passionate about creating and delivering world-class business events and have the capability to plan and coordinate the event from conception to onsite set up?
If so, this is a great opportunity with a local business who requires an additional team member to join a very busy, supportive, successful team.
Responsibilities- Manage projects from concept to delivery, including onsite at UK and overseas events.
- Collaborate across teams to drive promotion, sponsorship and delegate acquisition.
- Research and develop cutting-edge conference programmes.
- Secure top-tier speakers and key stakeholders fostering strong relationships.
- Innovate new themes and identify future opportunities alongside our supporting associations and advisory boards.
- Manage all conference operations on time and within budget.
- Proven project management with high level of attention to detail and multitasking ability.
- Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Self-motivated team player with a proactive, can-do attitude.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; second language and driving licence desirable.
- Willingness to travel internationally.
8.30am - 17.00pm Monday to Friday - Office based (NOTE - Due to nature of role flexibility will be required when attending events)
Salary and RewardCompetitive salary Β£30,000 - Β£32,000 DOE
6.6 weeks annual leave + Christmas close-down
