SMT Rework Operative

• Experience of Surface Mount Technology (SMT) rework

• Daily operation of SMT

• Ability to solder, wire and form components

• Ability to follow written work instructions

• A keen eye for detail

• Ability to maintain a high level of concentration

• Ability to distinguish colours

• Must possess good manual dexterity and have a good level of literacy and numeracy

• Must be able to cope with working in different areas of production e.g PCB assembly, general assembly, surface mount, coating, flow solder

• Ensure shop floor is kept clean and tidy at all times

• Any other duties that might reasonably be expected of a production operative

Education / Experience:

• SMT rework experience is required as well as general experience of electronic manufacturing.

• IPC Certification would be desirable.
