Painter and Decorator in Hayling Island

SKILLS REQUIRED

• Project planning – Assessing space, understanding client preferences, calculating material need and cost for task ahead.
• Surface preparation – sanding, filling, cleaning.
• Applying undercoats and primers.
• Using various techniques and tools to apply paint.
• Adding decorative elements like stains and varnishes where necessary.
• Be able to caulk & silicon to a good standard.

Required:

• Enhanced DBS (Essential)
• Own tools and brushes – Own step ladder and hop ups
• Correct PPE
• CSCS Card
• NVQ level 2 in Painting and Decorating or equivalent is beneficial
• Own van (Essential)
• Over 3 years trade experience.
