If you are a motivated individual with a passion for sales, this role may be ideal for you! It will be a blend of contacting new business through leads and lapsed customers to generate appointments for the external technical sales teams and then completing internal sales duties - processing sales orders whilst maximising on all orders.
Our client is a global company who manufacture and provide a service to customers supporting their technical products. They have large scale contracts within Government, Education, Healthcare and public sector clients to name a few and are looking for a proactive person to join a very successful team to support with the selling of products that meet the clients' project needs.
Duties will include:
- Daily calls to prospects to build and manage a lead pipeline.
- Prospecting via cold calling, emailing, and social media networking.
- Qualify all sales leads based upon specific lead qualification criteria.
- Conduct research for target accounts and identify key contacts for prospecting.
- Provide weekly and monthly activity reports to management.
- Enter and update CRM with lead status and progress.
- Assist Internal Sales Co-Ordinator with order entry as required.
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 2 years sales experience in telesales/lead generation ideally.
- Ability to learn, understand and promote technical products and software.
- Excellent communication skills in speaking, writing and listening.
- Ability to work independently.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics or other CRM software.
- Solid understanding of social media platforms.
Salary: £26,000 - £28,000
Working Hours: 8.30am-5.00pm - Full time
