Our client is looking for a qualified Inspection & Testing Electrician for a 3-6-month contract to work in the Portsmouth area at £29.50ph.
Requirements:
- MUST have a vast amount of experience within the domestic sector
- MUST have 18th Edition, 2391, NVQ level 3, AM2 qualification
- MUST HAVE OWN TOOLS & VAN
- MUST HAVE OWN TEST EQUIPMENT
- 2391 Testing & Inspection or equivalent - MUST
- 18th Edition Electrical Regulations
- NVQ Level 3 in electrical installation or equivalent
- Full current clean driving licence
- DBS Checked
You will mainly be using your testing/inspection skills and carrying out EICRs, although you could be asked to carry out all aspects of Electrics, including first and second fix, re-wires, void work, and reactive maintenance within the Portsmouth, Havant, Waterlooville area.
Unless you already have the following certificates, if successful you will be asked to carry out an online Asbestos Awareness course and a Manual Handling course before work commences.
Skills Required:
- To manage work schedule accordingly
- A good people’s person, dealing with tenants & clients
- 2-5 years domestic experience essential / Test & Inspect
- Good problem solver
- Strong customer focus
- A good approach to health & safety
