A well-established manufacturing company is currently seeking an experienced Press Brake Setter / Operator to join their production team. The Role
As a Press Brake Setter / Operator, you will be responsible for setting and operating CNC press brakes, carrying out all sheet metal folding activities, and ensuring production targets are met efficiently and to a high standard. You will work closely with management and supervision teams to maintain quality, improve processes, and support a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Set, program, and operate CNC press brakes
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
- Produce components to specification, quality standards, and required quantities
- Ensure production deadlines are achieved efficiently
- Maintain high quality standards in line with company procedures
- Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Adhere to Health & Safety policies at all times
- Identify and report inefficiencies, time overruns, or quality issues
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and improve efficiency
- Assist with training and development of team members where required
Requirements
- Proven experience as a CNC Press Brake Setter / Operator
- Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings
- High attention to detail and quality
- Strong awareness of Health & Safety in a manufacturing environment
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
