Our client is a leading provider of advanced electronic security solutions for National and Critical National Infrastructure. They specialise in the design, installation, and maintenance of state-of-the-art systems such as CCTV, intruder detection, access control, and fully integrated security platforms. Due to ongoing expansion, they are looking for a talented and driven Electronic Security Installation Engineer to join their growing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and commission a range of electronic security systems, including:
- CCTV (IP & analogue)
- Intruder alarm systems
- Access control systems
- Intercoms and door entry systems
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in installing and commissioning electronic security systems.
- Strong technical knowledge of security solutions including CCTV and access control, with familiarity across key platforms such as Galaxy, Hanwha, Hikvision, and Honeywell.
- Good understanding of IP networking, system integration, TCP/IP, security protocols, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Confident communicator with excellent customer service skills.
- Relevant industry qualifications (e.g., FIA, NSI, City & Guilds, BTEC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering) (Desirable)
- Experience with IP-based systems and networking. (Desirable)
- ECS/CSCS card. (Desirable)
- Water industry install experience (Desirable)
- EUSR Blue water card (Desirable)
- Security clearance (Desirable)
